This year, we're doubling-down. The 2017 event hosts are:

Graham Neil - In his career as a stand-up comedian, Graham has worked with Rob Schneider, Martin Short, Gilbert Gottfried and Jay Pharaoh (Saturday Night Live). With over 20 years of experience in broadcasting, Neil's most memorable interviews include Tom Cruise, Bono and Steven Tyler.

Donovan Workun - A three-time World Improv Champion with over 25 years of comedy under his belt, Workun is considered the leading improv teacher in Alberta. He has shared the stage with Wayne Brady (Whose Line Is It Anyways?), Mike Myers (SNL & Austin Powers) and is the star of the hit national CBC radio program, The Irrelevant Show.


Here's what you need to know about the event:

  1. The celebration is May 27 at Hotel Arts (119 12 Avenue SW). Cocktail reception begins at 6:30 p.m., awards ceremony at 7:45 p.m., followed by an after party which concludes at 12:30 a.m. Suggested dress code is cocktail attire.
  2. You do not need to bring a ticket to the event. Please check in at the registration when you arrive.
  3. Based on venue requirements, a cash bar is not available. Drink tickets will be required, which can be purchased near each serving location.
  4. After the ceremony, a wide range of hors d'oeuvres will be served.
  5. Reserved seating is not available. Seating is first come, first serve.
  6. We encourage you to arrange transportation for the evening. Complimentary taxi vouchers will be available should you require one at the end of the evening. If you prefer to drive, street parking is free after 6 p.m., and valet parking is available at the hotel parkade (charges apply).
